What is the Frozen Facial?
The Frozen facial is the most recent addition to the Crystal Clear range. This intense treatment delivers dramatic results without the need for any down time. The facial includes Microdermabrasion, Cryo Oxygen Therapy and Collagen Induction through the Micro channelling rollers. These rollers create hundreds of microscopic channels in the skin allowing an enhanced absorption of powerful serums which will promote the production of new collagen naturally in the skin.
Am I suitable for this treatment?
This treatment is perfect for anyone with visible signs of ageing, uneven skin tone or a dehydrated complexion. An initial consultation is carried out prior to treatment to ascertain your suitability and individual treatment needs. A full treatment plan will then be tailored to treat your specific concerns, all aiming to improve the appearance, feel and health of your skin.
How does the treatment feel?
The Frozen Facial is a comfortable four step treatment designed to rejuvenate and hydrate. As it's name suggests, you will experience a cooling effect when the oxygen is applied. This is designed to
prepare the skin for micro-channelling and the delivery of the specialised serums. The micro-channelling aspect of this treatment can sometimes be mildly uncomfortable on certain skin types or sensitive areas however,
your therapists are always guided by you and will moderate pressure to suit.
What should I expect after my treatment?
Following your treatment, you may experience a warm tingling sensation and reddening of the skin. This is totally normal and expected due to the micro-channelling stimulation and
demonstrates the success of the treatment. As well as clearer, healthier skin, you will also experience an ongoing improvement to the firmness and plumpness of your skin in the following months post-treatment, as new collagen is stimulated deep within the skin tissue.
Are there any side effects?
The Frozen Facial is both safe and gentle and not categorised as an invasive treatment. That said, we use medical-grade equipment and single use micro channelling rollers to ensure absolute clinical hygiene, whilst delivering optimal results.
Your skin may be red and slightly swollen immediately after treatment, but this will subside very quickly. Most people experience absolutely no side effects and any reactions usually disappear within a few hours, leaving the skin feeling and looking radiant.
